We’re in the thick of it now, Seattle. The Seattle International Film Festival is in full swing and has already showcased some great pieces of art.
One of the best SIFF films is yet to come—the Seattle premiere of Pixar’s “Brave.” From the people who brought us “Finding Nemo” and “Toy Story,” “Brave” is a coming-of-age tale mixed with humor and adventure, comedy and archery. We predict this heartwarming film will become the next Pixar hit! Bring the whole family and check out the premiere June 10 at 6:30pm.
While you’re anxiously awaiting June 10, pass the time with a few of the other amazing flicks screening at AMC Pacific Place 11. On June 2 at 4:00 P.M., catch a screening of “Brooklyn Brothers Beat the Best.” Not your average road trip comedy, “Brooklyn Brothers Beat the Best” features top-tier music and characters you’ll truly care about.
Later, hit the theater to relive ‘70s nostalgia, Italian style with “Kryptonite!” the story of a dysfunctional family trying to make their way in 1973’s Naples. Director Ivan Cotroneo will attend the screenings on June 2 and June 3 for a Q&A with the audience about his unique film.

Even though the major celebration of Cinco de Mayo takes place on Saturday, Mexico Cantina will be offering special promotions and pricing ALL weekend long. It is time to invigorate your taste buds and tease your palate; we are taking you on a foodie adventure highlighting the spring flavors of Italy at Il Fornaio. The mouth watering pizza below is already catching your eye, is it not?

Seattle moviegoers are in for a rare and nostalgic treat this month as James Cameron takes them back to the “Titanic” with a 3D release of the Academy Award winning film.
Who can possibly forget their first trip with Titanic back in 1997 during its original release? Cameron has gone back and redone the entire movie with lush RealD 3D, which makes the viewing experience better for those who have already seen it, and extraordinary for first-time viewers.

You will have the opportunity to taste through four different ’08 vintages from the high-end Pinot producer. From Washington you are in for a treat. Kiona Winery from the Red Mountain region of eastern Washington will be showcasing a Chardonnay and a beautiful Cabernet. In addition prepare for not only one, but two mystery wines. Guess you will have to get to this tasting to find out what the mystery is all about.
The Thirsty Thursday tasting is $10 for both wineries and waived with a bottle purchase. The tasting will commence at 6 p.m.
